Industry partnership supports young dairy innovator

8/7/2017

Nicole Ong has started the Food Value Chain Innovators: Emerging Leaders Program as part of a 2 year scholarship sponsored by Dairy Australia (DA) and MLA Donor Company.

The program is designed for young professionals working in the red meat, horticulture, seafood and dairy sectors.

Nicole is connected to an industry mentor, Shane Hellwege - Project Leader, People and Capability at Dairy Australia, who is available to help her during the program.

It has a whole value chain focus and aims to lead participants through design-led innovation – where they learn to put the customer at the centre of their thinking to drive value chain innovation and growth.

Throughout the program, and along with 15 other professionals, Nicole must complete intensive workshops and residential training.
